Cape Diamond Boutique Hotel, Cape Town

I had a mixed experience at the Cape Diamond Hotel. While the location is fantastic, right near many restaurants and attractions, I encountered a serious cleanliness issue that left me frustrated. The staff were great, always willing to help, and the room renovations make for a modern feel, but the issue with pests really overshadowed my stay. It's a great value for money if cleanliness is prioritized.

I found this hotel to be a great find for its value and proximity to key spots like the train station. The rooms were comfortable but be sure to request one away from the elevator if you're light sleeper. While the staff were super helpful and kind, the breakfast options could use more variety and better quality. Overall, it's a good choice for the price, but don’t expect a lavish breakfast experience.
